“Studentu Paradīze” (literally translated as ”Student Paradise”) is the greatest event in the Baltic states celebrating the start of the new academic year. It will be held at Arena Riga in Riga, Latvia and usually gathers together more than 10 000 both current and prospective students. This year the celebration will be held on September the 24th when more than 40 artists will be playing on 8 stages.  Among many great artists the top ones this time will include:  Dollarman (USA) who sings the vocals for Bob Sinclair, DJ Gabbi Lopez (UK) who is a famous London club DJ and  the group “Pienvedēja piedzīvojumi” (LV) which is an alternative rock legend in Latvia.

During the event many of the participating universities, colleges and academies will operate their own party booths which students will be able to visit to informally get to know the higher education providers of Latvia better. This celebration will take place for the fourth year in a row and is organized with a purpose to reach unity among students. 25 higher education institutions from Latvia take part in organizing this event.
